A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee general ledger activities, financial reporting, and cost accounting support. This individual will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy while driving process improvements across the accounting function.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations
- Support cost accounting and inventory valuation processes
- Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports
- Coordinate annual audit activities and provide supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Partner with operations and finance leadership on accounting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience highly preferred
- CPA designation is a plus
- Strong ERP and Excel proficiency
